We were invited to work on this project by architects TEM Engineering, who we worked closely with on a previous project in Izmir. Meeting at their office in Istanbul we were able work through the plans in detail and establish the specification. With a mix of timber and aluminium doors, this was a tricky project on a tight timescale. The unusual aluminium door profiles required a bespoke 3D hinge, and by taking dimensions from a sample we were able to produce these in the UK to match their exact requirements.
The Architect chose a Dorma lever handle, which we had produced in polished stainless steel on both narrow and round roses to suit both timber and aluminium door applications.
We also provided hardware for over 100 WC cubicles. With very little detail we were able to work up a comprehensive specification for their paneled cubicle partitions, including sprung hinges, panel support legs, locks, head rail and coat hooks.
All hardware was shipped from the UK to the door manufacturer in Turkey and installed on the doors before being delivered to site.
